Counselling & Psychotherapy
All of my work is trauma-informed and grounded in an awareness of neurodivergence

Based in the heart of Malton, North Yorkshire, a wonderful market town full of life, I work with our rural and wider communities offering in person and online sessions. I also welcome people from all around the country for online sessions.
About Me
When I am not counselling, you'll most likely find me happiest in my wellie boots!
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent 15 years working with victims and witnesses of crime. During that time, I journeyed alongside people experiencing traumatic bereavement following murder, manslaughter and infanticide. I also supported victims and witnesses more broadly and established services for those affected by domestic violence and abuse.
Over time, my work has grown to include supporting people in the farming and agricultural community, where isolation and loneliness are common and deeply felt.
Working with complex grief, trauma, anxiety and depression, I sit with people through some of the most vulnerable and challenging moments of their lives. These experiences have shaped me deeply and challenged me to adapt my support to each individual. Everyone's journey is profoundly unique, and yours will be too.
Above all, I love what I do. Therapy is a meaningful step towards growth and change, and I will be there with you throughout that journey.
I am a qualified Humanistic Counsellor and Psychotherapist, registered with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
Qualifications:
- Post-graduate Level 7 Diploma in Humanistic Counselling at York St John's University, with Distinction
- Master of Science (MSc) in Forensic Psychology at London Metropolitan University
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology at Lancaster University
- Volunteer experience with York Mind
